Grupa Transportowa is a 4PL logistics operator integrating all services within one supply chain. We provide transport of goods on an intercontinental scale, as well as; warehousing (including palletizing, labeling, consolidation and repacking of products), cargo ferry crossings, customs and tax services, insurance, as well as mechanical service for cars and trucks.

What types of transport do we provide?

Grupa Transportowa carries out the following transports: road (domestic and international, including full truck loads and groupage), cargo ferry crossings throughout Europe, sea (container, groupage, bulk, including the transport of liquid, dry, dangerous and temperature-controlled goods), air (for high-value, urgent and specialized goods), rail (for large quantities of long-distance goods, including intermodal transport), as well as multimodal and intermodal transport, combining various modes of transport to optimize logistics.

What vehicles are in our fleet?

Grupa Transportowa handles transport through a modern fleet of EURO 6 tractors, renowned brands Scania, Volvo and DAF. Our own fleet is complemented by several hundred sets of our contract carriers. We have over 120 modern semi-trailers of various types: tarpaulin, curtain, MEGA, refrigerated truck, silo, tanker.

Grupa Transportowa has the following certificates: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001, HACCP, TCC, TCF, Creditreform Certificate of Trustworthiness, Internal Control System Certificate, PISiL Certificate, GMP+, Good Distribution Practice Certificate, CASS (IATA), NVOCC of the Federal Maritime Commission and BEST SERVICE (iQS Cert).

What modern technologies do we use?

We have won the title of Logistics Leader in the "Advanced implementation of digital technologies and AI" category. We have systems that monitor CO2 emissions and optimize routes. Our forwarders work with a proprietary AI assistant. We conduct research and technology development as part of a strategic partnership with the Wrocław University of Technology. We use the revolutionary BRAIN tool, which predicts market trends and detects problems in processes before they occur. We also implement a Digital Twin in cooperation with Arendai, using innovative solutions from Intel.

Dr Maciej Kawecki in Grupa Transportowa. A conversation about AI in logistics that is already working

On September 10, 2026, at the headquarters of the Transport Group in Piotrków Trybunalski, we hosted Dr. Maciej Kawecki and a team of experts in the implementation of new technologies. On the GT side, the meeting was attended by the President of the Management Board Tomasz Macherowski, Vice President of the Management Board Michał Macherowski and CITO Rafał Łuczak. We showed the BRAIN platform from Techminds Revolution and the Digital Twin platform from Arendai, which is already working in the GT Logisticswarehouse. Both parties want to establish cooperation. Further talks are planned.

Changes in customs clearance to Norway. Check out what's changing!

From September 15, 2026, every transport of goods to Norway must be reported to Digitoll at the latest when crossing the border. Three related declarations are sent to the system. If the data does not match, the car will not receive a green signal. Formally, the driver is responsible, even if the declaration is sent for him by a freight forwarder or customs agent. A company without a Norwegian registration must use a customs representative registered in Norway. From March 1, 2027, the customs declaration must be submitted at the border at the latest. The 10-day clearance window ends.

Q4 2026: the peak has already been there, but there will be no quiet autumn

The peak on routes from Asia ended in July, so there is unlikely to be a shortage of capacity in the fourth quarter. There will be a lack of punctuality - in July, only 56.4% of ships arrived on time, and the average delay reached more than six days. The backlog from Asian ports will return on European corridors throughout Q4 and will hit trade before November 27, refrigerated cargo and just-in-time production the hardest. September is the last moment to provide a volume forecast, book windows and close customs matters - in November the implementation itself remains.
